2023 TT Practice Week: Peter Hickman and Dean Harrison Shine
In a thrilling display of speed, Peter Hickman set the tone for practice week at the 2023 TT with a 132mph lap on his FHO Racing BMW Superbike on Tuesday evening. However, it was Dean Harrison who stole the show on Wednesday, pushing the limits of road racing news with an incredible performance.
Superbike and Superstock Class Session
The Superbike and Superstock class session kicked off on Wednesday, with Hickman leading the pack on his Superstock machine for two laps. Harrison, riding his DAO Racing Kawasaki Superbike, followed closely behind, setting the initial pace with a standing start of 133.284mph and clocking the first sub-17-minute lap of TT 2023 at 16m59.089s.

Harrison completed the lap at an astonishing 133.514mph, securing his position at the top of the leaderboard as the evening’s running continued.

In the Superstock class, Hickman dominated with a 133.284mph lap, followed closely by:

Supersport Class
Hickman continued to impress in the Supersport class, leading the way on his Trooper Beer Triumph at 127.206mph. The top five riders were:

Coward topped the Supertwins times at 120.912mph, but Hickman’s Yamaha encountered issues, forcing him to stop early into his first lap on the bike at TT 2023.
