Cycling News: Revealed – Top 20 Starters for 2024 Isle of Man TT Supertwin Class
The highly anticipated line-up for the Supertwin class at the 2024 Isle of Man TT has been unveiled, with Paul Jordan leading the pack as the #1 starter.
Jordan, who was previously announced as the first-starting rider for the 2024 Supersport TTs, has now been confirmed as carrying his second #1 plate for the year in the Supertwin class. He will be representing the Stop & Seal Rev2Race team and their Yamaha R7.
Joining Jordan in the top 10 are several notable names in road racing. The 2023 Supertwin race winner, Peter Hickman, will start 10th on his PHR Performance Yamaha R7. Jordan’s teammate, Josh Brookes, will line up in 7th, while Michael Rutter rounds out the top 4 Yamaha R7s in the field, starting 4th on the Batham Ales-backed machine.
The top 10 also features two Kawasakis, with Jamie Coward’s KTS Racing powered by Steadplan Ninja 650 in the 2nd position and Davey Todd’s Dafabet Racing machine in 8th.
Rounding out the top 10 are four Patons: Pierre Yves Bian (3rd) for VAS Engine, Rob Hodson (5th) for SMT Racing, Michael Dunlop (6th) for his own MD Racing setup, and Dominic Herbertson (9th) for the Burrows Engineering by RK Racing team.
