Get Ready for an Unforgettable ‘Memorial’ Ride Out at the Southern 100 Road Races
On Sunday, 7th July, the Southern 100 Road Races will kick off with a special ‘Memorial’ ride out, starting from the Club HQ on Castletown by-pass. The route will take participants on two thrilling laps of the course, culminating at the picturesque Kirk Malew Church, where a poignant service will be held at 3:00pm. The Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band will provide stirring music for the occasion, now in its eleventh year, proving a hit with riders and fans alike.

The scenic Church Bends at Malew will provide a stunning backdrop for photographs, with the iconic bend and the historic church making for a spectacular setting.
A Unique Event You Won’t Want to Miss
This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable experience, with a beautiful floral display arranged by Tricia Clague at Kirk Malew Church, dedicated to the Southern 100 Road Races. The display will feature an iconic racing machine previously ridden by the legendary Billy Redmayne, kindly provided by Dave and Sue Redmayne.
