Isle of Man’s Southern 100 Road Races are set to offer a new fan park experience in Castletown Square, featuring live race footage, rider chat shows, competitions, and the traditional prize presentation. This collaboration between Southern 100 Racing, Castletown Commissioners, and ELS Isle of Man promises an immersive celebration of the beloved ‘friendly races’ for fans and locals alike.

On July 7th, the Southern 100 Road Races will start with a ‘Memorial’ ride out, where participants will take two laps of the course, culminating at the picturesque Kirk Malew Church for a poignant service. With the Castletown Metropolitan Silver Band providing stirring music and a beautiful floral display dedicated to the legendary Billy Redmayne, this year’s event promises to be an unforgettable experience for riders and fans alike.

The iconic Southern 100 Road Races, set to take place on the Isle of Man in 2024, have been designated a no-drone zone by the Isle of Man Civil Aviation Administration. This strict policy is in place to ensure the safety of riders and spectators, as drones pose a significant threat to the competitors. Breaching these regulations could result in severe penalties, including fines of up to £10,000. All road racing enthusiasts are urged to respect this important safety measure.
