2024 TT Racing Schedule Revised Due to Inclement Weather
On Tuesday, June 4, the highly anticipated Superstock and Supertwin road racing events were initially set to take place. However, the uncooperative weather forced a significant revision of the timetable.
Superstock Race Cancelled
The Superstock race was scrapped altogether, while the Supertwin contest was rescheduled from 2 pm to 7:40 pm.
Track Conditions Deemed Unuitable
As the day progressed, the weather conditions did show some improvement, allowing the one-lap solo warm-up session to take place. However, competitors consulted with the Clerk of the Course, concluding that the track conditions were still not suitable for safe and competitive racing.
Supertwin Contest Cancelled
Consequently, the Supertwin contest, slated for Tuesday evening, has been cancelled. At present, a revised timetable for the two lost races has not been announced.
