Cycling Enthusiasts Eagerly Await the 2024 Isle of Man TT Sidecar Class
Cycling enthusiasts are thrilled as the starting order for the top 10 seeded outfits in the 2024 Isle of Man TT Sidecar class has been unveiled. Leading the charge will be the experienced duo of Ben Birchall and new passenger Kevin Rousseau, as they seek to secure a remarkable 15th TT win for the Wyckham Blackwell/Hager LCR Honda outfit.
Despite the absence of Ben’s brother, Tom Birchall, the #1 seed retains his position at the front of the Sidecar field, determined to continue his road racing dominance. The second starting position will be taken by the FHO Racing DDM Honda pairing of Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley, followed by the Kelproperties Ryde Honda of Ryan and Callum Crowe in third.
The fourth and fifth starting spots will be occupied by the Bonovo Action Racing Carl Cox Motorsport LCR Honda of Tim Reeves and Mark Wilks, and the Kelproperties-backed DMR Kawasaki of Dave Molyneux and Jake Roberts, respectively. The second Carl Cox Motorsport entry, a Ryde KTM piloted by John Holden and Frank Claeys, will start in sixth position.
“The release of the Sidecar TT starting order comes shortly after the unveiling of the Supersport top 20, and fans can expect the Superstock and Superbike starting orders to be published in the near future.”
Rounding out the top 10 are the Ramsden Racing RS Motorcycles LCR Honda of Steve and Matthew Ramsden (seventh), the ARC Newton Aycliffe SJH Bodyworks LCR Kawasaki of Lee Crawford and Scott Harvie (eighth), the Dave Holden Racing LCR Yamaha of Lewis Blackstock and Patrick Rosney (ninth), and the Team Founds Racing LCR Yamaha of Alan Founds and Rhys Gibbons (tenth).
The highly anticipated 2024 Isle of Man TT event is set to take place from May 27 to June 8, promising thrilling road racing action for cycling enthusiasts around the world.
