Cadwell Park, May 22, 2024 – The road racing championship moved on from Oulton Park to the iconic Cadwell Park circuit, with the event returning to its traditional two-day format. The action-packed weekend saw the 2-stroke machines take to the track for qualifying, where last year’s champion, Bobby Varey, set the pace with a blistering pole lap of 1:36.199, edging out championship leader Jim Hind at 1:37.104. Mike Smith and Sean Morrison, the leading Cup bike rider, rounded out the top five.

The championship leader then pulled out a comfortable margin, finishing 13.8 seconds ahead of Smith and Simon Hunt. George Bedford continued his impressive form, taking the 125cc class win in 10th overall.
The second outing saw Hind once again dominate proceedings, leading from start to finish and leaving Varey to settle for second, with Smith, Chris Moore, and Hunt completing the top five. Morrison was the top Cup bike, while Bedford maintained his stranglehold on the 125cc class.
