Roadracing Enthusiasts Eagerly Await the 2024 Isle of Man TT as Starting Order Revealed
The highly anticipated starting order for the Superstock and Superbike races at the 2024 Isle of Man TT has been released, with veteran rider John McGuinness leading the pack once again.
McGuinness, who is making a return to the Honda Racing UK team, will start in the coveted #1 position, leading both the Superstock and Superbike fields down the iconic Bray Hill. The 23-time TT winner last held the #1 spot in 2022, when he celebrated his 100th TT start.
Joining McGuinness on the front row are his Honda teammate, Dean Harrison, who will start from the #3 position, and KTS Racing powered by Steadplan’s Jamie Coward, who will occupy the #2 spot.
The top five starting positions are dominated by Honda machines, with Ian Hutchinson maintaining his customary #4 spot on the Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles team, and James Hillier setting off from the fifth position on the WTF Racing Honda.
“Road racing enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the return of Michael Dunlop, who has not yet confirmed his plans for the 1,000cc classes in 2024. However, he will have the #6 starting position once his team and bike are finalized.”
The rest of the top 15 features a mix of familiar faces, including Josh Brookes on the Monster Energy BMW by FHO Racing bike, Davey Todd on the Milwaukee BMW Motorrad machine, and Conor Cummins on the Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles team.
As the road racing season gears up for the prestigious Isle of Man TT, fans can look forward to an exciting showdown between these seasoned competitors, all vying for a chance to etch their names in the history books of this iconic event.
