In a heartwarming gesture, photographers Tracey and Juan Harrison surprised Southern 100 sidecar newcomers Jim and Ben Gale with a £500 cheque on Sunday afternoon in the Billown paddock.
The generous donation aims to support the Peel and Ballabeg brothers’ inaugural outing at the iconic Isle of Man road racing event.
Set to debut on Wednesday evening, the duo will pilot their 4everRR 790 Ireson KTM outfit, bearing the number 96, in the highly anticipated Ace Hire & Sales Sidecar race.
Their second appearance will come in the Daryl Blake Construction Sidecar Championship Race, marking the thrilling conclusion to the 2024 Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races.
The funds were raised through auctions and sales of Isle of Man Sidecar Calendars, with Tracey’s Pictures expressing gratitude to all contributors.
