In a significant move for the 2024 road racing season, the Milenco by Padgett’s Honda team has announced the re-signing of Northern Irish rider Conor Cummins. The partnership, which will mark Cummins’ eighth year with the team, is set to include the prestigious Isle of Man TT as well as other major road racing events.
Cummins, a seasoned road racing veteran, expressed his delight at the contract renewal, stating, “I’ve taken my time over the off-season to understand what I wanted to achieve in the year ahead and now that all the pieces of the jigsaw are in place, I’m delighted to be staying with the Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles team.” The rider’s unwavering commitment to the team and his pursuit of success at the Isle of Man TT are evident in his words.
The 2024 season will also see a reunion between Cummins and fellow road racing star Ian Hutchinson, who has joined the Milenco by Padgett’s Honda team. Cummins shared his enthusiasm for the pairing, saying, “It’s great to see him back, and with Hutchy, Clive, and the whole team, we’re in an extremely strong position.“
Both Cummins and Hutchinson will compete in the two Superbike-class races, both Superstock races, and both Supersport races at the 2024 Isle of Man TT, all on Honda machinery. The event is scheduled to take place between May 27 and June 8, 2024.
With the experienced duo of Cummins and Hutchinson at the helm, the Milenco by Padgett’s Honda team is poised to make a strong impact in the upcoming road racing season, particularly at the iconic Isle of Man TT.
